Have you ever been to Campbell’s Orchards in the autumn? It is a busy and fun time of year here at the orchard. We are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic people to join our team as cashier, market assist, kitchen assist, wagon driver, and outdoor activity/field work in the orchard.
WAGON DRIVER
Do you enjoy working outdoors, meeting people, and sharing your enthusiasm for farming? Join our team as a Tractor Driver & Wagon Tour Leader at Campbell's Orchards!
As a Wagon Tour Leader, you'll safely transport groups of visitors through our orchard while providing an engaging and educational experience. This is a fun, customer-focused role that combines tractor operation, storytelling, and guest interaction. We are currently looking to hire for every weekend in September and October, including Thanksgiving Weekend. Hours will be 10:30-4.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Safely operate a tractor and wagon through orchard trails.
Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests throughout the tour.
Lead approximately 30-minute guided wagon tours.
Stop at designated locations to share interesting facts about our orchard, apples, farming practices, and the Campbell family.
Demonstrate proper apple-picking techniques and encourage guests to respect the orchard and trees.
Answer visitor questions and create a welcoming, memorable experience.
Keep tours running on schedule while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere
Who We’re Looking For:
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to groups of adults and children.
Confident operating a tractor (or willing to learn with training provided).
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Able to remain calm and attentive while responsible for a wagon full of guests.
Passion for agriculture, local food, and creating great customer experiences.
Availability:
Primarily weekends from Labour Day through the end of October, with some holiday and weekday opportunities as needed
