Hey Teachers & Homeschoolers!
Campbell’s Orchards is offering some options for field trips.
Our educational tour guides are a certified teacher and an educational assistant. They have developed a program that can be adapted to the Primary, Junior and Intermediate levels of the Ontario Curriculum. But most importantly - they both ensure your group has lots of outdoor fun!
You will have a 45 minute guided tour of our orchard and fields. We will make a few stops to talk about what we are growing and we will even sample some veggies straight from the market garden (when in season)! We will also pick a 10lb bag of apples for you to take back to your classroom (and maybe even eat one out in the orchard!).
Our hay wagon can carry up to 30 primary students (and the adults that accompany them). The cost of the tour is $260 (+tax). This works out to be about $9.80 (tx incl) per student if you have a full wagon. We have discounted the tours if you book two in one session (30-60 students) - the cost is $500 (+tax). We know you know this, but older students take up a bit more space…which means a full wagon of intermediate or senior students would be closer to 25 bodies.
We love having groups visit the orchard. If your group is looking for something different let us know. We would be happy to design a tour just for you!
