8 cups Lodi or Yellow Transparent apples cored and sliced
6 cups Water
1 Cup Sugar (or more to taste)
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon (or more to taste)
1 Tsp. Nutmeg (or more to taste)


Cook at medium heat, the prepared apples and water for 20 – 30 minutes until they start to look like applesauce

Add sugar, Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Simmer until sugar has dissolved 3 – 5 minutes.

Fill quart sealers and boil in sealer for 10 minutes until sealed or

Keep in refrigerator for approximately 2 weeks or freeze in zip lock bags.
