Campbell’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, this year in support of Hospice Quinte! This is a fun way to donate to a great cause, as 100% of the event proceeds will be going to Hospice Quinte. The store will open at 10:00 am, events such as the wagon ride and face painting start at 11:00 am and the hunt starts at 2:00 pm SHARP! Please come earlier as we have lots to see and do at the orchard and get a good spot when the hunt starts!

Chocolate foil covered eggs are hidden throughout two of our orchards. We have a separate section for toddlers and older children (age limit 12 and under).

About Hospice

Since 1985, Hospice Quinte has been providing compassionate care through its volunteer-based visiting hospice program, helping individuals within the Quinte Region in the terminal stage of a life-limiting illness to live with comfort, meaning and dignity. Hospice Quinte is also one of the largest providers of bereavement support services in the region, delivering programs to help families and caregivers through the various stages of the end-of-life journey. Dianne Campbell’s father died 3 years ago and through that the Campbell family learned about these resources and how much they can help in a time of need. There is a great need for a facility in the Belleville and Trenton area and The Campbell’s Orchards would love to help support their cause.

Hospice Quinte has recently announced that the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has granted approval for the organization to move forward with the construction of a 6-bed Hospice Quinte Care Centre to serve individuals residing in the Quinte region, which includes the City of Belleville, City of Quinte West, Town of Deseronto, Tyendinaga Township and the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

The new 10,796 sq. ft. Hospice Quinte Care Centre will be constructed on Old Highway 2, across from Bayside Secondary School. The Centre will be a safe, comfortable, quiet and welcoming place that feels as close to home as possible. Professional care will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and at no cost to the family or individual.
