Group Fall Tours 2011
Wagon Tours are available anytime weather permitting. Tours are $150 per group of 30. Maximum 30 people/wagon. We can accommodate 60 at once. Colin is well versed on many agricultural topics and loves to educate and share his many years of on farm experiences.
Walking tours are also available at a lesser fee.
School Fall Tours 2011
Schools & groups enjoy picturesque tours of our orchard and wonderful ' on farm' learning opportunities as they are welcomed into our orchards, market and farm. Each tour lasts about 1 - 1.5 hrs, and accommodates between 30-60 children.
Your school tour will include:
1. Wagon Ride: The children get to sample and discuss different vegetables. they will take home a small pumpkin of their choice. Value: $100.00
2. Learn to pick an apple. Pick an apple and munch on one on your wagon ride. Value: $12.00
3. Visit with the animals & jump in the straw. Value: Priceless
4. Run through the corn maze. or if the children are old enough play the game in the maze. Value: $3.00/child $100.00/tour
5. A large pumpkin of your choice out of the field and a 10lb bag of apples will be given to each tour for the class. Value:$20.00
School tours are available on Tuesday-Thursdays and must arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 or 12:30 and 1:00 (approx). For safety reasons we ask that schools respect a ratio of 1 parent/teacher per 5 children.
- 30 children: $150.00/tour
- 60 children: $300.00/tour
- Youth Group evenings: $175.00
Total value of tour: $232.00 + treats to take home and life long learning.
Cancellation Policy: Tours must be cancelled at least 1 week in advance. Fifty percent of the total amount will be billed to the school if cancelled without ample notice.
Weather restrictions will be accommodated with rain dates, which can be arranged as needed.
Evening Visits for Youth Groups
We can take youth groups after hours for the corn maze and a bon fire. Maximum 30 kids. We supply a bon fire, marshmallows, cider and apples for about an hour & a half from 7:00 til 8:30 until Halloween.
The total cost is $175.00
